At just eight months old, Laxmi underwent surgery on her face which gave her the appearance of having two noses. Her mother, Sarvesh said she was told there was no guarantee Laxmi would get better but now, the seven-year-old does not have many issues. In her village in Uttar Pradesh, India, people treat her as an incarnation of a Deity and come to her for blessings which she says ‘feels good.’ Sarvesh said: “Laxmi is very lucky. Our lives have changed since she was born.
